Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pawfessor mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pawfessor ("we", "our", or "us"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Use of the Service

Pawfessor provides an AI-powered pet behavior analysis service. By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Not use the App for any purpose other than analyzing pet behavior.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Not use automated systems or bots to access the App.

Account Registration

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account using email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for:

• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.

Content & Uploads

When you upload videos or other content to Pawfessor, you retain ownership of your content. However, by uploading, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process your videos through our AI analysis pipeline.
• Store your content securely on our servers.
• Generate and display analysis results based on your content.
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models.

You represent that you own or have the rights to all content you upload, and that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Pet Content Guidelines

Pawfessor is designed exclusively for pet-related content. You agree to:

• Only upload videos featuring pets (primarily dogs) for behavior analysis.
• Not upload content depicting animal abuse, cruelty, or neglect.
• Not upload content that is violent, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Not upload content containing personally identifiable information of others.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts associated with such violations.

AI Analysis Disclaimer

The AI-powered behavior analysis provided by Pawfessor is for informational and educational purposes only. Please be aware that:

• AI analysis is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Results may not always be accurate and should be interpreted as general guidance.
• You should always consult a qualified veterinarian for health concerns about your pet.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated analysis.
• Confidence scores and recommendations are algorithmic estimates, not professional assessments.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, AI models, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is the property of Pawfessor and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent.
• Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission.
• Create derivative works based on the App or its features.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App using automated means.

Subscriptions & Billing

Pawfessor offers auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play Store account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to the same service.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect.

Cancelling your subscription will not result in a refund for the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current subscription period.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Uploading malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.
• Interfering with or disrupting the App's infrastructure or other users' experience.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Using the App to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Impersonating any person or entity.
• Circumventing any security measures or access controls.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on AI analysis results.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will immediately cease.
• We may delete your account and associated data, subject to our data retention policy.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account through the App settings.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pawfessor operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration.
